Membership benefits

Membership of ACF offers connection, collaboration and learning from peers and experts. ACF membership is per organisation so all employees and trustees can benefit from ACF resources, events and networks.

Read on for information about membership benefits. You can also view our membership benefits information leaflet for an overview of membership.

“The ability to connect with and learn from colleagues in other trusts and foundations is so beneficial.”

  Policy and research

Through our policy work we represent members and the wider foundation sector by:

  1. Monitoring and influencing the legislative, regulatory and policy environment
  2. Supporting and guiding ACF members on policy, regulatory and legislative developments
  3. Representing foundations and promoting the foundation model of philanthropy.

Our sustained engagement with governments, policy-makers and charity regulators ensures we can represent member interests to decision-makers. Members can get involved through:

  • Engaging directly with the policy team and external stakeholders through regular events and updates
  • Helping shape how ACF engages with government and key external stakeholders
  • Joining the community of signatories to the Funder Commitment on Climate Change
  • Sector research – providing key facts and figures on giving, income and other sector data.
